Local Company Wins Home Secretary's Gold Award for Charitable Giving

N4 Solutions, an Experian® company, and one of the UK's leading providers of technology solutions for the financial services industry, has received a Gold Award from the Home Secretary in recognition of its contribution to charity for the third consecutive year.

Based in Poulton in Cirencester, N4 was given the award for fostering a culture of philanthropy and committed giving in the workplace. The Gold Award is a symbol of excellence and is awarded to employers that have succeeded in generating sustainable income sources for UK charities through Payroll Giving.

Steve Jones, chief executive of N4, said: "A sense of community is central to the ethos of N4. We believe that charitable giving and activities can be combined with business success and add a greater sense of purpose to an organisation."

In addition to Payroll Giving and supporting staff's fundraising initiatives, N4 has developed close ties with the local community, including a link with the National Star College in Cheltenham, a local independent, specialist college working with students with physical disabilities and learning difficulties. As well as payroll contributions from N4's staff, Steve Jones leads a corporate group which is helping to raise £15 million for the college through a three-year funding programme.
