N4Solutions, a leading technology company for the UK financial services industry based in Poulton near Cirencester, has won the Contribution to the Community category for the The Citizen & Gloucestershire Echo Business Awards, sponsored by the South West of England Regional Development Agency.

Judges for the Contribution to the Community Award were looking for a company, which has made a significant contribution to the community in which it operates. N4 was selected as a winner because it "puts its money where its mouth is" when it comes to social responsibility.

Founded in 1999, N4 now turns over more than £5 million a year, providing multi-channel point-of-sale systems for the financial services sector. Its 50 employees have raised 10s of thousands of pounds for the National Star College and provide its severely disabled students with experience of real work, whilst Steve Jones, N4?s CEO, spends two days a month assisting the College with fundraising.

N4 also recently received The Gold Award from the Home Secretary, which is a symbol of excellence and is awarded to employers that have succeeded in generating sustainable income sources for UK charities through Payroll Giving.

The winners of the Citizen & Gloucestershire Echo Business Awards were announced at the Awards Presentation Dinner held at The Centaur, Cheltenham Racecourse.
