N4 wins Home Secretary's Gold Award for charitable giving.
N4Solutions, a leading supplier of compliant point of sale technology to the UK
financial services industry and whose clients include Intrinsic (the new Financial
Services network led by Lord Leitch), Woolwich, Barclays and Nationwide, has been
awarded the Gold Award by the Home Secretary in recognition of its contribution
to charity.
N4 was given the award for fostering a culture of philanthropy and committed giving
in the workplace. The Gold Award is a symbol of excellence and is awarded to employers
that have succeeded in generating sustainable income sources for UK charities through
Payroll Giving.
Steve Jones, CEO, N4 comments, "A sense of community is central to the ethos of
N4. We believe that charitable giving and activities can be combined with business
success and add a greater sense of purpose to an organisation."
In addition to Payroll Giving and supporting staff's fundraising initiatives - including
a walk along the Inca Trail in Peru - N4 has developed close ties with the community.
The CEO, Steve Jones, spends time each month working for charities including a local
college. N4 also offers work experience at their offices for the students, many
of whom have complex physical disabilities.
